Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan and is based on the concept of channelling universal life energy to promote balance, relaxation, and healing.

This treatment is currently available at our Witney Lakes, Lothian Road and Rose Street locations. We look forward to welcoming it to more PUREs in the future.

While Reiki itself is not a massage technique, it will be combined with a PURE massage to enhance your overall therapeutic experience, creating a holistic and harmonious approach to relaxation and well-being.

As the massage progresses, your therapist incorporates Reiki principles by gently placing their hands on or near specific energy points on your body. Your therapist acts as a channel for universal life energy, promoting balance and harmony within your body's energy centres.

The subtle energy work of Reiki aims to balance the flow of energy throughout your body, addressing imbalances and promoting a sense of calm and vitality. Clients often report feelings of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during this phase of the treatment.
